about RICHELLE

Richelle has published six nonfiction books and is the recipient of the Moonbeam Children’s Book Award Silver Medal and the Foreword INDIES Book Award Bronze Medal in regional histories. Her new co-authored book releases soon!

Richelle works with K-12 teachers in developing arts-integrated classroom techniques and their students to enhance core subject learning and retention through songwriting and creative writing.

As a Mississippi Arts Commission Roster Artist and a Mississippi Humanities Speaker, Richelle shares a variety of topics with audiences in open forums that are free to the public. Her songwriting connections to history and literary devices add a delightful flavor to her presentations.

Richelle picked up her first instrument because she wanted to write songs. She picked up her second and third instruments because she fell in love with how the instrument creates the story’s emotion, atmosphere, and pacing.

The thrill of writing about others evolves through the interview process when personally connecting to subjects and their story. Still, an interviewer must reach beyond what is already known to find what the world doesn’t yet know.

With an MA in Creative Writing and specialty diplomas and certificates in various writing categories, Richelle works with all writers to help them develop creative techniques and skills and achieve their writing goals.

A marketer must master technical and creative skills with an unwavering commitment to producing high-quality content for readers, audiences, and customers. • Concept, story, branding, platform building
  • Marketing research
  • Website and social media campaigns

A Project Director analyzes the strategic goals and objectives of a proposed project and develops an efficient and economical plan to achieve those goals and objectives.
